Suggested Prerequisites
Before you take the Certified Macromedia Flash MX Designer Exam, Macromedia suggests you meet the following prerequisites:
- One to two years of involvement in Web design, production, and graphics in the full development process in Web site creation.
- One to two years experience with Macromedia Flash
- At least six months experience with Macromedia Flash 5 and some experience with Macromedia Flash MX.
- Six months to one-year experience with HTML and/or an HTML editor like Dreamweaver.
- Six months experience with Freehand and Fireworks or other similar type products.
- Some experience with non-code based software that uses visual objects in development.
- Six months of print or Web experience creating professional high quality graphics

Scoring
The Certified Macromedia Flash MX Designer Exam consists of 67 challenging multiple choice and true/false questions delivered in a secure, proctored testing environment. You will have 75 minutes to complete the exam. Reference materials and discussion between examinees is strictly prohibited.
Candidates need to score 75% correct on the Certified Macromedia Flash MX Designer Exam to pass and become certified.
