Getting Started

Creating Flash mobile content is easy. By starting with the following simple steps, you will be on your way to create great applications and content for supported mobile devices.

What you need to do:

1. Purchase and install Macromedia Flash Professional 8.
2. Acquire a supported handset.
3. Register with the Macromedia Mobile Developer Program.
4. Download and install the Flash Lite CDK.
5. Read the included documentation and familiarize yourself with the CDK.
6. Start your application development.
7. Post your content on the Macromedia Mobile Exchange for Flash Lite.

Note: By joining the Mobile Developer Program, you will be the first to be notified of availability of the FlashCast CDK (not currently available for download).
