In Part 3 of this tutorial, you begin to form the structure of the main content area. This section is comprised of three columns that you will lay out with divs; you will use the float method to position the left and right columns. You will also learn how to add a footer to hold your copyright information. Along the way, I will inroduce you to the new CSS Layout Background functionality in Dreamweaver 8.

In Part 4 of this series you'll begin to style and add content to each of the divs, and in Part 5 you'll take your CSS a step further and begin to make your layout cross-browser compatible.
