LiveCycle Data Services ES is architected to be scalable, secure and high performance server. Besides basic remoting capabiliites, it supports a rich set of features to create real-time and near real-time applications. It abstracts the complexity and realiability required to create server push (comet like) applications. With the support of NIO (Non-blocking IO) server, it truly pushes the capabilities of the server from 100s of concurrent users to 1000s of concurrent users.
Deployed as a standard J2EE web application, LiveCycle Data Services ES enables you to leverage your existing infrastructure and investments to be reused to create RIA.
LiveCycle Data Services ES can be purchased standalone to work on a J2EE server. LiveCycle Data Services is also embedded with Adobe LiveCycle ES Fondation as well as included in LiveCycle Forms ES.
