The visual design phase is known as "the
fun part." The designers are finally able
to stretch their creative wings to brainstorm,
conceptualize and produce a look and feel based
on the completed upfront work. During this phase,
navigation and functionality defined in the Structuring
phase are addressed by building an HTML prototype
to test and validate the information design. The
designers might come up with the most intriguing
navigation design in DHTMLbut is it producible
within specifications? By running these two phases
concurrently, you are able to go back and forth
between design and functionality and ensure seamless
integration of the two.
