In which languages is Adobe Contribute 4 available?
Adobe Contribute 4 is currently available only in English.
Will Adobe Contribute 4 be available in other languages in the future? If so, when?
A release date for localized versions of Adobe Contribute 4 has not yet been announced, but our expectation is that French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Japanese versions will be available in the spring 2007 timeframe.
Can I buy the English version of Adobe Contribute 4 and upgrade later to a localized version?
Yes, you can upgrade to a localized version of Adobe Contribute once it becomes available.

Does Adobe Contribute 4 work with dynamic web pages?
Adobe Contribute 4 can edit static HTML on virtually any web page, including CFM, ASP, JSP, and PHP pages, using file/folder-based web protocols, such as FTP and WebDAV. Any server includes or server code on such pages is protected by default to ensure that Adobe Contribute 4 does not break application-server functionality. However, Adobe Contribute 4 cannot edit content that is stored in a database. Adobe Contribute 4 also works with content management systems that implement the MetaWeblog API for editing and authoring dynamic web content.

What is product activation?
Product activation is an anonymous, secure, and hassle-free, one-time process that authenticates licensed users during the installation process. Activation is not required for products acquired under a volume license agreement. The activation process verifies that the serial number is legitimate and has not been activated on more systems than allowed by the End-User License Agreement (EULA). It does not affect the ability of licensed users to use their software as they always have. How long does activation take?
Activation is very simple and takes only a few seconds on the Internet. If you do not have Internet or e-mail access, you should click on the phone icon during the activation process, and you can choose a toll-free number from multiple region and language preferences. You can then activate using our automated voice response system. If you still have difficulty, you will have the opportunity to speak with an activation agent.
