Cockpit View UI
All of the HomeSite tools are neatly in view and at your fingertips in this user interface, modeled on a cockpit, that anchors all toolbars and panes within the UI.
Configurable Workspace
Dock, float or remove toolbars. Add or remove buttons from toolbars. Re-size the Editor and Resource panes to fit your preferences.
Full-Size Help Browser
Save time looking for the correct tag syntax with the integrated Tag Help. You can access help from within the Editor (press F1 while highlighting a tag) via a full-sized browser dedicated to displaying tag help.
Clean Code
Enjoy clean code. As a pure HTML editor, HomeSite does not add any additional code to your page. Count on the better-performing Web pages enabled by working directly with the code.
Color Coding
Simplify the reading and editing of code by color-coding comments with user-configurable color schemes. Color Coding works with ASP, CFML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Perl, PHP and VBScript.
Code Navigation
Place bookmarks in your code to more easily toggle between different locations. Hide entire blocks of code with Collapsible Code. View two areas of code simultaneously with Split Window.
Integrated File Pane
Quickly locate and open files that are saved locally or on a remote server.
Integrated Browser
Easily toggle between edit and browse mode to quickly view the results of your work.
Fireworks Integration
Developers can improve their workflow across applications through tighter integration with Macromedia Fireworks. Users can select an image file in the Editor and launch Fireworks to edit the graphic.
Edit Include File
Easily edit files that are referenced from your code. By right-clicking on a <script>, <vtinclude>, or <wizinclude> tag, you can launch the included file in the Editor. This option is also available for <#include> and <@include> tags.
