The Macromedia - Allaire merger unites, under one company,
the two market leaders in Web development: Dreamweaver, the
market-leading visual HTML authoring environment, and HomeSite,
the dominant hand-coding development environment.
The Dreamweaver/HomeSite connection began before the two
companies joined forces. A copy of HomeSite ships with Dreamweaver
and both products let developers launch and edit a document
