Macromedia Director 8.5 Shockwave studio lets you create 3D text for your movie using either of the following methods:

	Extruding 3D text from a 2D cast member
	Extruding text into a 3D world

Downloads the Windows 3d_text.zip(546k)
Downloads the Macintosh 3d_text.sea.hqx(410K)

Although you can obtain a similar "look" for your text using either of these methods, they treat text differently and thus offer different advantages.
