Why convert?

If the value of converting between tables and layers still isn't evident to you, follow this example of a page redesign.

This page is pretty simple; it has a few images, some text, and a few titles. Easy to lay out in a table, right?

But what if you want to make a few changes to it, like swapping the title images and repositioning the pictures? Like this:

It's certainly possible to do this by editing the table, but you'd have to add, remove, and resize quite a few cells to get exactly what you want, and copy and paste the contents of the cells to move everything around.

What if you could just drag the table cells to the desired positions and go on to your next great design?
