Biography

Although a biochemist by training, Murray Summers has spent the last 20 years working in the computer industry. In 1998, Murray started his own website production company, Great Web Sights (www.great-web-sights.com). As a Team Macromedia member, he also participates in the sponsored forums for Dreamweaver and other products. He lives in rural Philadelphia with Suzanne, his lovely wife, their teenaged daughter Carly, and 4 wonderful canine companions.

As he sometimes gets up on the wrong side of the bed, you must be very nice to him in the forums!

Murray is a Macromedia Certified Web Site Developer and Dreamweaver Developer, and has contributed chapters to Dreamweaver 4 Magic, Dreamweaver MX 2004 Magic, and Dreamweaver 4: The Missing Manual, by David Sawyer McFarland, He was Technical Editor on the latter publication and on Roadmap to Contribute (by Joseph Lowery). Along with Brad Halstead, he co-wrote the definitive study of the use of Snippets, Library Items and Templates in Dreamweaver MX, Dreamweaver MX Templates. He has served as an invited speaker at TODCON (9-10/2001, Orlando), TODCON II (9/2002, Chicago), TODCON North(3/2003, Toronto), TODCON MX (6/2003, Las Vegas), and TODCON IV (4/2004), and will most likely continue to do so!
