Remove effects

You can remove individual effects from an object using the Remove Item button in the Object panel.

This object would look very different without the sketch effect, so remove it to see how the effect changes the appearance of the object.

1 In the Properties list of the Object panel, select Effect: Sketch.
2 Click the Remove Item button.

The sketch effect disappears from the Properties list and the object redraws without the effect. The stroke and fill that were affected by the sketch effect are now listed in the Effect: Ragged branch of the Properties list. If you need to remove an entire branch of an object's hierarchical Properties list, you can use the Remove Branch button.
